The deep arched groove of GoTreads require a ground surface it can dig into. GoTreads are not effective on hard surfaces such as concrete. Using rubber mats under the GoTreads on concrete, like the ones in our Stack Pack could provide that gripping surface.
Soft surface boat ramps such as pea gravel or sand provide better traction for GoTreads. Should your GoTreads accidentally end up in water, rest assured that they float and can be retrieved.
