Here are some tips for vehicles with different types of traction control systems.
Turbo Chargers
Vehicles with turbo chargers, may require a different technique when leveling. To avoid
vehicle lunge, rev the engine a few times in park or neutral to spool up the turbo pressure. Then switch into gear and slowly
drive up onto GoTreads. Pre-spooling the turbo charger can help reduce a sudden surge in acceleration when leveling.
Computer Throttle Mapping
Slow acceleration / throttle feathering can be difficult in vehicles with computer controlled throttle mapping. Some vehicles have a steep initial throttle curve. This can
create a vehicle surge when trying to level with GoTreads. The higher you are leveling, the more difficult it is as the computer will want to override your throttle input. We
recommend keeping leveling height to a minimum if at all possible in these vehicles.
Vehicles with Traction Control
Turn off traction control before using GoTreads to allow gradual acceleration
