# Which size of GoTreads should I get for my van?

Most adventure van owners prefer the [GoTreads XL](https://gotreads.com/product/gotreads-xl/) for its extra height when leveling the vehicle. The XL offers an additional panel for up to 4 inches of leveling and 4 feet of traction.

One pair of GoTreads typically suffices, but some 4WD drivers like having a tread under each drive tire for optimal traction. This, however, requires investing in two pairs.
